On February 14, the 3rd International Makkah Halal Forum & Exhibition—one of the Islamic world’s leading trade platforms—opened in the holy city of Makkah. Azerbaijan is participating with a dedicated national pavilion organized by the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ACE). Held from February 14–17, the event features a 114-square-meter Azerbaijan Pavilion showcasing products and services from 17 leading companies specializing in agriculture, industrial production, and innovative digital solutions. Azerbaijan is represented by an 80-member delegation, and its products have attracted strong interest from visitors and international investors since the opening day. The Pavilion was visited by high-level officials, including Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mutallim Mirzayev, and the President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), Abdullah Saleh Kamel, along with members of the ICCD Board of Directors. As a Board Member of the ICCD, which represents 57 countries, the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs actively promotes the country’s business interests on this influential platform. Key partners in the Forum include the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA). The program also features the ICCD Executive Committee meeting and the 41st General Assembly, aimed at strengthening cooperation in halal industry, trade, and investment. During the Forum, ACE President Mammad Musayev and Azerbaijani business representatives are holding bilateral meetings to explore new partnerships and export opportunities. Azerbaijan’s participation highlights its growing halal production and export capacity and reinforces the global positioning of the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand.
