Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan participates at the “World Defence Show 2026”.
Within the framework of the “World Defence Show 2026” international exhibition held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Minister of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vugar Mustafayev, met with the Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi; the Minister of Defence of the Republic of the Sudan, Hassan Daoud Kabroun Kayan; and the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Burundi, General Marius Ngendabanka.
During the meetings, the parties provided detailed information on the current state of the defence industry in their respective countries, production capacities, and priority areas.
The discussions covered opportunities for joint research, personnel training, exchange of experience, and specialized training mechanisms, as well as the application of innovative technologies, digital solutions, modernization of weapons and equipment, the innovations presented at the exhibition, and prospects for future cooperation.
