Azerbaijani delegation attends World Defense Show
Senior leadership of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense participated in the World Defense Show 2026, a global defense industry exhibition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the exhibition, which brought together leading defense companies from around the world, products of “Azersilah” Defense Industry Holding CJSC under the Ministry of Defense Industry, as well as other private companies from Azerbaijan, were showcased at the national booth. The Ministry’s leadership familiarized themselves with modern weapon systems, military equipment, aviation and aerial assets on display, along with the latest developments in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. During the visit, Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with his Saudi counterpart, Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as several company executives. The meetings focused on exchanging views on issues of mutual interest in the field of military-technical cooperation. The World Defense Show, a key platform for the global defense industry, brings together leading companies and serves as a venue for presentations of cutting-edge technologies, strategic partnerships, and business meetings.
